If you remember the ads in the back of old radio magazines, they were full of mail-order Japanese brides and other oddities.
I can remember when there were ads on this forum for Russian, Asian, etc. dating sites. At least those aren't showing up now. I know that the ads that pop up are because of sites we go to. Last year I bought my wife a Christmas present online of Hallmark Channel Christmas socks (that I've never seen her wear) that I didn't realize were coming from China. Now I get ads from all kinds of cheap Chinese clothing sites, which is part of what I'm getting here.
Use the back (left) arrow on your browser to return to the previous page.I miss being able to advance to the next topic or go back to the previous topic in a particular forum. Now I have to exit the discussion completely and go back to the index. Can this be restored?
Looks like Pale Moon may have an issue with this release. I have various browsers and none of them have this issue.I like the changes.
One tiny issue is no RD favicon is loading in Pale Moon.
What browser are you using? I do not have this problem using Firefox. So sometimes all the avatars load, other times I only get half of them.
Mainly Safari. What browser are you using? I do not have this problem using Firefox.
What avatars are you missing? The custom ones?Mainly Safari.
Yes, and just some of them. What avatars are you missing? The custom ones?
It's probably that Safari does not recognize some of the file formats.Yes, and just some of them.
It seems to be a caching issue. I can see the full size avatars, not the small preview ones. It's probably that Safari does not recognize some of the file formats.
I really don't have an answer for you.It seems to be a caching issue. I can see the full size avatars, not the small preview ones.
I am looking into a solution for this annoyance. For the time being, please ignore the "warning."Speaking of The Google, it seems convinced now that the legitimate forum update e-mails from here are now spam, and marks them with a big yellow banner when I open them in Gmail. Google's "solution" is to add the incoming address to my address book, but it's already there and has been for ages, so I don't know what else to do.
It's not sending the e-mails to the spam folder, just marking them with a big ugly banner saying it might be phishing or spam. It started with the switchover to the new board software.
