Here in San Jose, there is a lot of noise, as with 970, but a few stations can be dug out of the mud.
CKNW out of British Columbia makes it way down here ( but fades for long periods, before coming in strong for brief periods ). I'd say this is the most dominant signal, even though it fades to a weak signal 90% of the time.
KWSW out of Eureka, California. Its a very very weak 500 watts off two towers, but the music is there.
There is regional Spanish music that can be heard, but I do not know which one ( I have two Spanish stations close by ). It may be KFWB out of Los Angeles since its music and not talk.
