Radio Browser Streaming Radio

Maybe I'm missing something here, but this site appears to be just a link to other internet stations. It's acting as a search engine. So therefore the site itself isn't paying royalties on the music. The stations it links you to are. That's how they can operate for free. Correct?

I also notice the first station is speaking French.

I’m not sure but I think Google has something to do with this site. Also there seems to be some Tune-In exclusive stations as well Tune-In 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, Classic Alternative, Classic Country, Classic Rock and Rock all with the Tune-In Brand. 181.fm has two stations on here as well a 70’s and 80’s. A very interesting site to say the least.
 
I checked it out, and in predictable form, went to the "Latin" categories. One was dead, and the other was reggaeton (which is sort of like getting hip-hop in English formats).

Since there are many more kinds of "Latin" music than there are English-language music types, of course having just one stye available means that I won't be going back unless they widely and wildly expand the options.

Their explanation of why the service exists is rather confusing, too.
