KLUX 89.5 Corpus Christi - antenna problems

They filed a special temporary Authority request
"ON THE MORNING OF WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 2020, THE TOWER THAT HAD HELD THE KLUX(FM) ANTENNA FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS COLLAPSED IN A WIND STORM. THE STATION IS CURRENTLY BROADCASTING FROM THE EMERGENCY ANTENNA FACILITIES DESCRIBED IN THIS STA REQUEST AND RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO CONTINUE SUCH BROADCASTS UNTIL SUCH TIME AS IT CAN CONSTRUCT AND SECURE AUTHORITY TO BROADCAST FROM MORE SUBSTANTIAL INTERIM FACILITIES. LICENSEE EXPECTS TO PUT MORE SUBSTANTIAL INTERIM FACILITIES IN PLACE WITHIN A MATTER OF WEEKS AND HAS PLANS TO BUILD AND LICENSE NEW PERMANENT FACILITIES BY THE FOURTH QUARTER OF 2020."

However in a newer request for special authority, they say the coronavirus pandemic has slowed down the process of building the new antenna. I don't know what antenna KLUX is on right now, but below is their construction permit for permanent facilities. So if you're not hearing them as well as you used to, it's because they're rebuilding.
The new antenna will be 42,000 watts, instead of their old 60,000 watts.

old news, as noted it happened in april. i heard them a few times in Wyoming even on their lower power.

Theyre running 8000 watts at 595 feet instead of 58kw at 955 feet (the temp. operating data was shared with me when i sent in a reception report)

You must have a good antenna, Radio Guy. Wow all the way in Wyoming, and only 8000 watts?

What antenna / radio do you have, man?

I had a 5 element Scala yagi, which I sold.. and a Sony XDR F1HD heavily modded by xdrguy.com (I still own the radio)
