They preempted that for this?

so this weekend the Northern Michigan-Michigan Tech college hockey series is being shown on WLUC NBC Friday and WLUC-DT2 Fox Saturday

Fridays game pre-empted news at 7. Wheel got moved from 7:30 to 9:30. Dateline got pushed to 4am Saturday morning (late Friday night). At 10 they showed the "Magnificent Mile Light Show". Weakest Link rerun got nuked

Saturday's Game starts at 6 and they will be cutting away from the Mountain West Title game (that starts at 4:30) They will be joining the Masked Singer rerun (of the finale) after the game

WSOC gets the Panthers-Packers game tonight which bumps the AAC title game to WAXN. The Goldbergs Saturday double run, which is usually at 8pm, moves up two hours to 6pm, replacing a run of American Ninja Warrior. The King of Queens and Seinfeld only get one run tonight, at 7 and 7:30 respectively leading into the AAC title game. (King of Queens is normally at 7 and 7:30 and Seinfeld is at 9 and 9:30 on Saturdays). Panthers Huddle will air on WAXN after the game. Not sure if WSOC will air a Panthers pregame show, with the ACC title game set to air before. They have not promoted the Panther game at all on social media that I know of. But it makes sense to have the ACC title game and the Panthers air back to back.

How does anyone know this? The Charlotte Observer doesn't even mention it. And it should.

I hope that when CBS loses the SEC that they will get a deal with more than one conference and go to having more Saturday night college games like ABC and Fox, and do away with trying to schedule local programming in the7-8 PM block on Saturday nights.
NBC does much the same thing with Notre Dame football (Though obviously to a much lesser extent since The Fighting Irish don't play many good games at home)

Panthers website did confirm it. I knew it was going to be on WSOC when I saw the AAC game was to be on WAXN. To be fair, the DirecTV grid was wrong for WSOC...it never changed from Tulsa at Cincinnati. And then WSOC had technical difficulties and joined the broadcast late. WSOC apologized for the snafu.

My TiVo listed AAC on WSOC-TV (there is also an FM) and regular programming on WAXN. But like I said, the Observer is supposed to do this.

The Monday Night Football game is most likely airing on my NBC Station in Cincinnati (WLWT) and the ABC Station in Pittsburgh (WTAE) tonight.

NBC Programing will most likely move to the MeTV subchannel. Not sure for WTAE, they will most likely air ABC Programing overnight or move it to the CoziTV subchannel.

Never mind, I found out that my NBC Station is not showing the game. There just airing regular NBC Programing instead.

WWNY CBS 7 and its sister WNYF FOX 28 in Watertown, NY both aired a local charity special titled "Heart of the North Country". WNYF aired it at 7:00, pre-empting one of two Last Man Standings, and WWNY aired it at 7:30, bumping Wheel of Fortune to 1:37 AM (even though Wheel has new episodes this week while Jeopardy! has two weeks of non-sequential reruns to avoid any Christmas or New Year's pre-emptions for Alex Trebek's final week).

Last night, WFTV ABC 9 in Orlando unexpectedly pre-empted Wheel of Fortune with one of their many "9 Family Connection" specials. Usually, they promote these specials well in advance on their social media and in listings. Usually when Wheel gets pre-empted, it moves an hour early to 6:30 Eastern on indie sister WRDQ 27 (since 7:30 is Family Feud, too big a program to pre-empt apparently). Of course, since there was no notice of this, it was too late for fans to try to catch it there, unless they like watching Judge Jerry as well, which normally double runs on WRDQ at 6:00.

They also sometimes delay pre-empted weekday episodes to late Saturday nights following the 11:00 news, although they're already doing that because of Friday's show being pre-empted by NBA. Friday's Jeopardy! and Wheel air Saturday at 7:00 and 7:30 (ABC has one last CFB game from 3:30-7:00), and Saturday's episodes will air at 11:35 and 12:05.
