AM/FM Digital Radios

I'm looking for a $15 or under AM/FM Digital Radio

I found one that is a Insignia NS-R5111A for jogging, Is it good for DXing?

I only have Analog Radios right now, My Eton is in Storage

It's hard finding old AM/FM Digital Radios from the 90's on ebay, All you find is China Made Crap from 2010 & Up

Some of the 'China made crap' may actually be good. Nearly every radio I've purchased since 1998 has been made in China -- including all of my Sangean AM-FM's.

I mean the aftermarket ones

Mosty on AM, Good AM Loopstick, So if I find a station I never heard before, I can look

I have a Yorek YK-901, Weak for AM

What kind of sangean do you have i have a sangean toughbox myself and are all of their radios made in china? Thanks.

Yes, Sangeans are all made in China. Essentially all the radios commonly found on the market today are. And have been for decades.

Perhaps just get an Eton / Grundig AN200 loop antenna. I got one for around $35 at Fry's. I see them for about the same price online. Nearly any small radio can MW DX with a good loop antenna.

I have a bunch of them, including digitally tuned SW/AM/FM Sangean radios made in the 1990's. The newest ones I have are a PR-D14 and PR-D5. Both DSP tuned, both made in China, both are good on FM, both are good AM DXers. I also got a PR-D18 recently on closeout at a local store (the radio is still made and sold online), and it's good on AM (I can hear XERF 1570 on it without aid of a loop, and that's usually my DX test station), and good enough on FM to bring in marginal local stations where there are terrain shadows. I think it's a $45-50 radio online.
