Anyone in Queens, that can monitor some pirates?

There's a more general thread on the board about the FCC cracking down on pirates, by going after the landlords.
The question came up....who are these pirates, and what are they broadcasting? Are they filling a real need, or just playing around, and taunting the FCC and legal stations?
Can someone in Queens hear the pirates on 105.5, 95.9, and 91.3, that the FCC has noted around the 3500 bloks of 95th, 97th and 99th street? What do they broadcast?
Would they have a good reason to become a legit LPFM station?

I live in Flushing Queens. As of now Monday 12/21 at 4:45 PM

105.5 FM - nothing
95.9 FM - Chinese (loud and clear) - likely this is from Flushing
91.3 FM - Spanish (loud and clear) - likely this is from Corona
I think 105.5 might be Korean or Caribbean...It flickered on and off....Bad audio sound too

The choices in the Caribbean that might have a pirate-"worthy" following in NYC are English, French, Kreyol, Spanish. While there is Papiamento and a number of other languages spoken, none is prevalent enough to be justification of a pirate.

With that in mind, all are Romance languages or derivatives. They should be distinguishable from any Asian language if you can get a good enough signal to hear the spoken audio clearly. If you can't make the distinction, perhaps you can record some spoken audio and post or link. Someone here with either Asian or Caribbean experience can help.

I do OK on the Caribbean languages, and also speak Puerto Rican, Dominican and Cuban fluently. :)

A couple of months ago I emailed the FCC about a couple of pirates stations in Connecticut and the response I got was they can't do any enforcement on pirate radio stations due to COVID-19 unless it was a life and death situation - i.e. if the pirate station is interfering with air traffic control frequencies.
You mean I could have had a pirate station this whole time?

Pirates are still prevelent in the Bronx as I'm traveling up in the Hutchinson River Parkway especially on 101.7 as of Jan 2021. Also heard pirates in the Metro North Train in 2019 too, seems covid helped any radio pirates to continue broadcasting.

Apparently? Yes!
Little enforcement happens under normal circumstances (for mostly political reasons). COVID precautions have made life for the EB a nightmare.
