His Radio Praise Debuts On 103.9 WSHP-FM

Not bad, but the 103.9 signal is already
mostly overlapped in coverage by both 89.7 in Simpsonville (Paris Mountain) and 88.5 in Belton/Anderson...maybe something new for those frequencies?

103.9 is Barely audible in Spartanburg due to the 104.1 LP which also airs His Radio (Z) Programming...

I wonder if their CP power increase from 6 kw to 25 kw went thru yet...

Definitely not needed with 88.5 and 89.7 both playing the exact same thing to the same area, and already with a good signal, especially Greenville and cities south...

This would have been better if they put it on to a signal for Spartanburg (the 95.5 W238AW translator south of Spartanburg would be great for this).

89.7 reaches Spartanburg better than 103.9
and already covers Greenville well.
88.5 WAHP also has a stronger signal in Anderson than 103.9

Just heard on the radio, the simulcast of "His Radio Praise" at 89.7 (W209CM - Simpsonville) has ended, now simulcasting "His Radio Talk" WHRT at 91.9 in Cokesbury, SC ...Their simulcast at 92.9 in Greenville (W225AZ) ends today...
Something new is coming to 92.9

So...

103.9 Greenville / 88.5 Anderson is now simulcasting His Radio Praise.

89.7 Simpsonville / 91.9 Greenwood is now the His Radio Talk simulcast.

The WRBK folks sold 91.9 several years ago to the His folks, along with 88.7 Saluda and 88.9 in Summerville. The WRBK format was nice while it lasted. They still have stations at Richburg, Enoree, Whitmire, and Society Hill, SC.

92.9 from Greenville is off the air, now hearing a weak signal of WZLA Abbeville classic country music reaching the Simpsonville area

The two stations were urban from 1987 to 1993 and alternative from 1993 to 1996 before switching to oldies and then 80s music in 2000. In their final years together they played Contemporary Christian. They split up in 2005.
