Fantastic word game

Music videos were fun, but the ratings showed people weren't viewing them for extended periods, so MTV introduced long-form reality programming to increase MTV's appeal to advertisers.
 
Boycott all the boycotts so we can move on to a kinder gentler nation.

Mikey Radio, welcome to the Fantastic Word Game, affectionately known by all Game Czars (me) as TFWG. We've been here since December 3, 2006 and we keep going and going and going. We are at this point a very small but dedicated crew.

Please adhere to our teeny tiny few rules:
-Please use the bolded ending clue from the previous contribution as your new beginning clue (which you did).
-Please bold your new ending clue (which you did). We will also accept CAPITAL LETTERS if you are unable to bold.
-Please use one sentence and one sentence only, preferably a well-written, properly punctuated one. Your Game Czar hates ellipses with a passion (those dots in the middle of your sentence). They are completely unnecessary in your contribution. Please dispose of them immediately.
-Any dialogue that is not part of the game can be italicized or somehow differentiated from the play of the game. You are free to review any or all of our 1,963 pages to see what we do here. Previously, before Radio Discussions upgraded their software which, we had 10 responses per page (as opposed to the current 20 per page) which means we had well over 3,000 pages.
-We hope you have a long and fruitful stay with us and join us on our Quest to (previously 10,000) 5,000 Pages.

You received the memo I sent you the other day re: the internal political turmoil (meaning: board of directors' existential crisis) emerging at FWGU Clackamas, correct?

Apologies, I thought I was playing a simple game, just for fun... I didn't realize there were strict rules and that I was in blatant violation of same. Again, I thought it was just a fun thread I posted in. Carry on...Without me and my 3 dots...

Foolish rebukes of new contributors who haven't been around long enough to understand our somewhat unique brand of humor can easily cause them to take things way too seriously as we've just seen with Mikey Radio.

Might be time to rethink our recruitment efforts there, WMC?
 
Mikey Radio obviously didn't quite get the humor and has instead taken the Stuart Greenburg route out of the game.

Mikey, come on back, buddy. While it's true I hate ellipses, and my head will explode every time I see one, they aren't banned. The rest is true though. We are basically a word/sentence writing game so just write a sentence using beginning clue provided from previous poster. The rest will take care of itself.

Grand words defy me as I wonder if that is our good friend Miss Silkie who has not been around these parts in a while.

Miss Silkie, is that you? So nice to see you back and I do hope you are back. I kinda think this might be the first time you are seeing the new decorations. They upgraded stuff which, unfortunately, led to 20 posts per page (rather than 10) which means we lost half of our pages. Great to see you.

A big snow storm in my area happened about 3 weeks ago when we received a good foot of snow which kept lots of people off the roads and home for the day.
