These sports contracts are not forever. At some point they'll have a shot at all those teams.
 
As I have wrote many times before I listened to Kuhner for the pure comedic value of a failed history instructor from Canada with a Gypsy accent a stutter and serious delusions of grandeur. Since the election his program including the caller comments are downright scary. I would be more concerned except for the fact that his influence is limited to the small members of the lunatic fridge that comprise the majority of his audience.

all the reporters that thought they were getting a free vacation in the warmth of the Florida sunshine are in for the shock of their lives as it has been COLD here, going down into the 30's in Tampa Wednesday night/Thursday morning with daytime temperatures barely making it to 60 if that.

Twitter posts Fybush and others making are saying not a big company, not a major market..so not Entercom/ Boston.
@scottfybush:"It's not any of the big national groups, nor is it any of the biggest Northeast markets. It still has the potential to be a very significant shakeup in the places where it's happening, but a lot of the speculation out there is... interestingly wrong."
 
For whatever it's worth Boston Radio Watch's twitter feed was spitting some fire yesterday about possible big changes to WEEI.

Entercom has been retooling many of their sports radio lineups, and with 'eei getting doubled or tripled by 98.5 it's only a matter of time before they're on deck.
 
Right after the game last night I turned on 98.5 on the Radio.com app. Andy Gresh was on. When they took a break I switched over to EEI. Same ad was running, and then who comes on after the break? Gresh! It was the “CBS Radio” feed. On both? Not sure this was happening over the air, but seems weird.

Yeah 🤔 something is happening at WEEI-FM behind closed doors. Either possibly a format change or layoffs maybe? Mut seemed genuinely taken aback by what Tom Curran was saying to him. At least thats my interpretation of the audio posted on this thread.
