1980s British DJ?

I was wondering if any of the old-timers on here remember a British DJ who worked the West Palm Beach market during the 1980s. I remember him from the old WIRK AM 1290 as "Lord Ritchie" and he later turned up on another station as "Rick O'Shay." I typically heard him on the weekends and thought maybe he was a part-time fill in guy.
He would always give the station ID for WIRK as "1290 meters" which I thought was really cool.
I always wondered what his deal was and if anyone else on here remembers him and could tell me more about him..

NO, NO, NO !
1290 KHz is 234 meters!

I thought about that too, because today I'm familiar with "meters" from the ham and shortwave bands. I just assumed at the time that "meters" was some British term. I guess even some radio people don't know the right terminology.

There's a Rick O'Shea listed on 440int.com who worked at two stations in Ft. Pierce in the mid-70s. Don't know if it's the same guy but the listing last had him working in Beijing
Thanks for the lead. I don't believe this is the same guy I heard but that 440int.com site is fascinating. I wasn't aware of it so thanks for mentioning it. I've been looking up everyone on there.
