Radio One Indy Changes...Houston impact?

I see that KROI‘s format twin in Indianapolis (WNOW-FM) is dumping Kidd Kraddick and moving Tino Cochino to mornings. Both stations had added the shows at the same time last year. Wonder if a similar move will be made at RadioNow 92.1 or are different changes on the way?

Possible, but Radio Now Houston 92.1 wanted KKMS shortly after dumping Joe and Alex/McKinzie.

When they added in KKMS the Indy station didn’t add KKMS until a month after Houston did. Indicating the Indy one didn’t like them but had to fill a morn void.


Plus KKMS is a Texas based show and they had a presence here before (previously 96.5 2011-2012). I don’t think they’ll abandon them until KKMS can find another station in Houston to stick from, they did that in SA when their long time station Mix 96.1 kicked them off and they went to another one.

This is probably how they’ll do it from a KKMS POV. They don’t want to give up this market no matter what.
