We Are the Champions

Sorry, but I don’t buy it. That song is a tune out factor.
Think of "We are the Champions" getting too much radio play for your personal liking to certain songs like "My Way" by Sinatra or "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" at karaoke bars (pre-Covid, obviously). Some may get tired of hearing songs like those all the time, but obviously someone likes them and wants to sing or hear them, or you wouldn't hear them as frequently as you do.

Maybe for you. But according to the iTunes chart, the song has been a consistent top charting song, reaching a peak in 2018. That was the year the movie came out. Although the song Bohemian Rhapsody is more popular. So if you use streaming charts as research, it's a must-play song.

On the music speakers at the supermarket where I work, I've heard...

"We Will Rock You", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "Another One Bites the Dust" but not "... Champions"
"Sgt. Pepper" and "With a Little Help...:" (separately, not segueing), but not "Sgt. Pepper (Reprise)" or "A Day in the Life"
and among Moodies cuts, afair only "Nights in White Satin".
