iHeart stations in Denver and L/R not balanced

You don't know what you're talking about because I have called stations more then once and emailed and have gotten the big brush off. I have not spoken to engineers directly because I wasn't given that option except for one station where I did on email.

In some cases I've been picky, in other cases the station wasn't even listenable for days, which is not good for any station. And frankly should not be tolerated by the management.

And you don't know if me talking about it here does any good or not. Maybe not, but it doesn't hurt either.

Don't read it if you don't like it. It's a valid topic. I has 49 "likes" after all.

Call Iheart Media Denver, ask to leave a message for one of their broadcast engineers.. I would think you'd at least get a voicemail message.

I've contacted stations whove had problems and as long as I approach them without attitude and do it nicely, ive almost never been brushed of.. its all in who you contact and how you say it

I waited for weeks before posting this. Channel 93.3 audio is to the left and KBCO audio is to the right. I think left and right might be out of phase with each other also. I can't listen to it.

I called the iHeart main number about 93.3 several weeks ago. No one answered in the middle of the day so I left a message. Never heard from them. Not sure if the poster above was trying to imply that I would contact them with "attitude", but that's never been the case. Always super polite. I just don't think they care. I don't see how to come to any other conclusion. I mean really a listener should not have to tell a station they've had a problem for that long. I would hope some of the employees listen sometimes.

Back to XM streaming..................

Someone also needs to tell the I-Heart engineers to put more AGC on their talk station AM's. There are times when the audio levels drop so low on the AM's you can't hear the audio. KCOL in Fort Collins is especially bad. Drive the AGC on the audio processors a little more! not hard to do.

Not sure about Denver stations, but here in SLC I notice many talk stations could stand to slow the attack time on their processing.
Every time the talent takes a breath, all the room noise instantly pumps up, and the talent sounds like a drowning person gasping for air.

I ran through all the FMs today just for fun. Channel 93.3 (KTCL's) audio is better. 107.9 KBPI's audio is to the left. 97.3 KBCO's audio is way to the right.

Pretty mind blowing. I've only ever observed this with iHeart stations.

You've mentioned stations that are not owned by iHeart as well.

Kool 105 is not iHM.
Thanks for confirming what I just said. I am quite familiar with which stations are iHeart in this market.

As I stated I did not say anything about left/right balance for Kool 105. Here is what I said in Oct. of 2019: "KOOL 105 will sound great on one song and then the next song will be distorted."
