The new transmitter was turned on this week. 107.1 WJBB is sounding GREAT especially in the Braselton area. Local radio at it’s best with a great morning show and music mix! The new signal still has trouble to the south in Gwinnett County where the spanish station translator in Atlanta on 107.1 overpowers WJBB south of the Hamilton Mill area.
It almost seems that "LaRaza" is operating well above their licensed 250 watts with a much lower antenna height.
No, purely a daily observation while traveling through the same area towards Lawrenceville in all types of weather. Basing that "observation" on coverage maps. WJBB is not listenable in many areas south of 316 where indicated. I understand that the new antenna is more directional and thus covers the intended areas very well.and im sure you can prove that is in fact the case and not just atmospherics?
