NFL announced new TV deal.

The Wiki:
In 2014, the NFL shifted the package to a new model to increase its prominence. The entire TNF package would be produced by a separate rightsholder, who would hold rights to simulcast a portion of the package on their respective network. CBS was the first rightsholder under this model, airing nine games on broadcast television, and producing the remainder of the package to air exclusively on NFL Network to satisfy its carriage agreements. The package was also extended to Week 16 of the season, and included a new Saturday doubleheader split between CBS and NFL Network. On January 18, 2015, CBS and NFL Network extended the same arrangement for a second season. In the 2016 and 2017, the NFL continued with a similar arrangement, but adding NBC as a second rightsholder alongside CBS, with each network airing five games on broadcast television each.

In 2018, the NFL reached a long-term deal with Fox to hold the rights through 2022.

Fox got the rights outright in 2019.

Correct, so it's possible that Amazon could do a production deal with Fox Sports to provide technical services.

Or they could just build their own from scratch. They have lots of money. We'll know for sure in a few months.

They have a year to figure it out.

Yep some of those people (James Lofton, Kurt Warner) also do radio broadcasts for Westwood One when they're not doing TV. So there's some fluidity in staffing. With the number of games on different days, you have the ability to do multiple games for multiple networks. But as I said, Amazon has lots of money. If they want to build their own master control for sports, they could. But since it already exists at Fox Sports, why not pay them a pile of money to provide production services. No one turns down money.

True, I doubt you get Troy or Buck though.

My wild highly un-educated guess is that the broadcast teams responsible for the each franchises' pre-season telecasts will get to add a regular season game to the 2021 schedule. (With the away team's commentators in a sperate booth for that market's broadcast)

The Team Preseason Announcers call all regular season games but on a secondary channel and not people from CBS or FOX.

Most teams that have preseason crews do radio or TV during the regular season. Lets take the Giants. Their preseason TV crew is the regular season Giants radio crew.
