Alternative to Long Commercial Breaks

The funny thing is Entercom had good Alt stations. Seattle and Kansas City had some good eras with good programmers. Kansas City in particular had a good run before the guy programming it was removed from programming and focused on his show, which they syndicated to Dallas, Detroit and Vegas. It's not like there's no one in the building who could present an "alternative" way to what they're doing now.
