K-Love WKVB Address

Yesterday, I was just browsing around on the net, when I came across something quite odd, but not unusual in retrospect. K-Love's business address is listed as 83 Leo Birmingham Parkway, Boston, MA. Just one simple question, why would they be using Audacy as their business address? My thought was that their local presence would be in their own separate offices instead. Does Audacy have private offices in their building to lease out too? Maybe unusual, however the whole thing does strike as being just a little bit odd.

WKVD appears on a search as having been FM in Marietta Ohio, but I believe that is a confusion with another similar call letter set. The calls you cite do not currently show up in the FCC data base.

What market and station and frequency are you referring to?

I am very sorry, my bad! WKVB/Westborough instead. I will make the correction.
That's the station's address under Entercom, the seller.

The FCC lists this as the address in the Public File:

83 Leo M Birmingham Pkwy
Brighton,MA 02135
617-746-1400 Ext.

They may have made a deal with the seller for use of the address for some purpose... or perhaps they just did not change it in a timely fashion.

Taking awhile to update, like the HD Radio site giving you a list of HD2 and HD3 channels that no longer are around.
As has been noted K-Love is also on the HD3 of WZLX (iHeart) though it may really be from the 1570/105.3 combo running it...

Yes, I am familiar with that too, which seems to make it even more complicated.

Also, WKVB 107.3 is running three different K-Love programming streams on their HD1 (main analog channel), HD2, and HD3. Didn't listen long enough to hear the specifics, but they all sound like different flavors of contemporary Christian music.

Did they get their Boston area boosters going? It's coming in stronger than ever here in Somerville. Full "bars" on my HD radio signal strength display, never seen that on them here before. I'd think stronger than just the move from Boylston to Hudson would make it. Wondering if I'm hearing a booster from the Hancock in Boston? Radio-Locator doesn't have them, but the FCC shows booster CP's on the Hancock and in Lexington.

I do not know, however it does appear that 107.3 and 1530AM/105.3 FM are on separate feeds, with 105.3 mentioning 95.5 in Providence.

The 3rd feed? Could it be A broadcast of Air1 instead?

The proposed contours indicate that WKVB-FM2, situated off Concord Avenue in Lexington, is the booster directed toward Somerville. (WKVB-FM1, the booster atop Hancock, aims WSW with a significant null toward your area.)

That address in the public file is the “main studio” address...which is now entirely irrelevant, since there is no longer any such thing.
