Houston Texans Reporter Loses Job After WEEI Interview Comes To Light

Longtime Texans reporter Aaron Wilson vociferously defended Deshaun Watson last month on “The Greg Hill Show” against the array of sexual misconduct charges levied against the star quarterback.

And now, Wilson is out of a job, according to Diana Moskovitz and Kalyn Kahler of The Defector. They report Wilson’s departure was addressed Friday in a Houston Chronicle staff meeting.

It was Tanguay who was doing the interview and though it was obvious where the reporter's feelings were, he did qualify his remarks saying he did not disbelieve the many accusers charges unconditionally. He thinks it's about $$ with the police not involved.
I think the newspaper overreacted but they can tell their staff anything they want with regard to rep'ing the paper on-air. I just don't think he should have lost his job.

There was a writer from Pennsylvania who went on K&C a few times to defend Jerry Sandusky. I don't remember his name, but he was way out where the busses don't run. Not sure whether he lost his job.
