4 NJ Radio Stations on WJLP TV

WJLP TV's channels 33.11-33.14 carry the audio of 4 NJ radio stations owned by Press Communications. They are WKMK (country); WBBO (CHR); WWZY (classic rock); and WHTG (oldies). WJLP has studios near the Jersey shore, and transmits out of 4 Times Square.
While this is nothing new, I only recently became aware of this method of listening to these stations. This post is made under the assumption that this is not widely known in NY (or anywhere :) ).

Notice improved fidelity (ATSC 1.0 DTV uses Dolby Digital which has no FM type pre-emphasis)?

Are the radio stations Mono, Stereo or a mix?

The audio channels are in stereo. It was evident when I was listening to Lesley Gore's "Maybe I Know" on WHTG (33.14) a while ago. The audio quality of the four channels could be better, but it is adequate for background listening.

Speaking of which, WHTG showed up towards the bottom of the NYC radio ratings for March. If the TV subchannel is a direct simulcast of their radio feed, and thus carries the same PPM encoding as it, would it be counted towards WHTG's ratings? (Likewise for the other radio simulcasts on digital TV subchannels.)
