Make that seven nights a week for The CW

The CW made it official (May 13, 2021). It’ll start with the 2021-22 season...

I would imagine most of the CW Stations are happy to be free of the must carry Jerry Springer Re-Runs.
Well, this also gives the affiliates, most notably the Nexstar stations (like KTLA Los Angeles) a chance to expand more newscasts, which seems to be the case these days.

Where did you here that about Jerry? If True if it and was just 30 minutes and on at either 5:30pm or 6:30pm KCWE then Newscast maybe.

It's in the article headline and story itself. In exchange for the new Saturday schedule, the CW is giving their lone Weekday hour back to the affiliates.

The CW president has been talking about programming Saturday Night for a few years when they got Sunday nights back. I thought it would be just repeats it's awesome they will air original shows on the night even know it will be low-rated like most of the nights on The CW. And they will pretty much own the night other than college football on ABC & Fox. I'll watch if they have shows that I like on Saturday.
