Probably a contract issue that they had to take on when disposing of one of the AM stations. It seems that 107.1 FM and 98.5 FM I have a different programming. At the moment 98.5 FM is broadcasting La Raza and play music, wow 107.1 FM is broadcasting Andres Cantor and FUTBOL DE PRIMERA. Maybe they are broadcasting it due to contract?
Perhaps the RDS was never changed after KNTE flipped to the La Raza simulcast?I went to Laredo this past weekend when I was close to Rosenberg i tuned in to 101.7 FM. And the RDS was showing La Ranchera Even though it is still La Raza
It wasn't. It's been that way since New Years.Perhaps the RDS was never changed after KNTE flipped to the La Raza simulcast?
Same question for KEYH 850.Does anyone know the status of 103.3 KJOJ, will it return? They currently have an STA to remain silent.
My guess is we have seen the last of KJOJ as a commercial station. It would cost a lot to bring it back on the air just so it can rimshot Galveston and parts of Brazoria/Fort Bend county. If anyone is going to spend the money to bring that station back, it will likely be a Christian broadcaster.Same question for KEYH 850.
They were offered a year courtesy (no fee) use of a tower to resume operation of 850 and declined. There are no current plans to resume operating the station. My guess is we have seen the last of KJOJ as a commercial station. As for KEYH, I wonder if the KQUE, KREH, KCHN or KULF sites can be used?
I thought that was simulcasting AM 1070 The Word. Well it was back on May 15thDoes anyone know the status of 103.3 KJOJ, will it return? They currently have an STA to remain silent.
There is a translator, 103.3 in Houston, that simulcasts The Word. KJOJ is a different story however, their tower collapsed or something last year.I thought that was simulcasting AM 1070 The Word. Well it was back on May 15th
