KOPY(AM) translators in Alice

A license application was filed for K269HD 101.7, Alice, TX, retransmitting KOPY (AM). There is already a K254AZ at 98.7 from the same site doing the same thing. Can anyone in the area there tell if they are both on?

Without even looking, id wager one isnt tied permanently to the AM, IE: It wasnt moved in under revitalization rules.. so it can go anywhere, and they wanna do something else with it. One of the two MUST be tied to the AM for X number of years.
 
I've traveled through that area several times up until a couple years ago and never heard the 98.7 translator on the air, 100.7 is new so IDK. I however did just notice the licensee spelled their name wrong on 101.7. "CLARO COMMUNCIATIONS LTD." should actually be "CLARO COMMUNICATIONS LTD."
 
Thanks, guys. Interesting to hear that 98.7 might not even be on. The picture in my head was that 101.7 may not have been on yet, that it was racing the clock to get filed/saved, and that 98.7 was probably still running to keep an FM signal on the air. It raised a red flag when the telephone number in the application was a dead number.
 
The same people filed for 96.5 K243CV San Antonio a license to cover on June 1st. However when I checked then and even a couple days later, K243CV was not on. I haven't been able to check since shortly after and I don't know when I'll be able to check it again.
