I was listening to WAYV via the tune in app last night and I heard Bruno Mars That's Why I Like it and the word sex was censored. Why so conservative with their music? It sounds like a Hot A/C when they do that...aren't they CHR?
 
They've been like that as long as I've known that WAYV even existed. Very puritanical. It took them forever to stop editing rap breaks out of popular songs. Like it's the 1950s or something. I wonder if they even bothered playing "Watermelon Sugar."

It's like one has to remind them that they aren't a Hot A/C from before 2008 anymore...🤦
 
Their on-air processing is absolute garbage now, too. I can get it from Bensalem, PA. Lately I'd consider WAYV a Hot AC leaning CHR. or maybe its the other way around.
