Could this be KVED Vernon, TX, running the Kingdom Keys Radio Network (KJRT-88.3/KIJN-92.3) and they ended up running a T-Storm alert for a county that is not served by them? It's 1400 miles if so. I have recordings but I am now backlogged by 2 days and 4+ hours, so I have no idea when I will get to them, plus I have a hike planned tomorrow and Saturday yard sales!

Meanwhile, 100.9 Cherry FM was hijacked by country music (KGBL?) and The Bull must have found the old rock records, because a classic rock station (KPAW?) wiped them off the map for about 10 minutes. Never got an ID, sadly. At the same time, KATS was heard by DXers in both Cheyenne WY and Denver! A mighty Kat indeed, from Yakima's Ahtanum Ridge.
