Two high-profile billers, Q105 and 99.5 QYK have both taken a big hit. First time in a long time WRBQ is down under a 5 share and QYK tumbles to a 3.4. They can't be feeling good in the BBGI building right now.

All three CHRs are beating each other up in the mid 3s

And meanwhile WBTP has plummeted to a 2.0. What's the deal with that?

Back to reality for The Bone

Looks like the only real winners are mostly voicetracked/jockless WDUV(no surprise here) and Mix 100.7 who has Ryan Seacrest on afternoons. I give that a big thumbs down. I refuse to accept that this is what today's listeners want to hear.

From what I've read, The Beat recently shifted their format from a general mainstream Urban, which appealed to all age groups, to a much younger hip hop playlist. They have likely lost a lot of adult Urban listeners with the change.

Maybe narrowing it to try and drive listeners back to FLZ?
 
Well if they brought back Paula Street, and hired June Knight, and Ralphie Marino, I bet they could bring the ratings back

But at this point Beasley has a reputation that makes iHrt look good, I've heard some real horror stories from people who I consider rock solid truthful from more than 1 market and I don't think I'd accept any offer from them.
