Thats a boring lineup they should have a little bit more variety otherwise they might as well just have it in syndication and cancel my network tv all together.

MyNetworkTV once it lost WWE SmackDown to Syfy slowly turned into Fox's version of Ion or MeTV or any other network where repeats of TV shows are pretty much their line.
I didnt know smackdown was on me tv was this is 2009-2010 thats when it was on syfy i believe.

Considering that barely tenuous connection is irrelevant, it’s not time to end it so long as the financials work.
agree, just retire the network name and rebrand to "FoXtra" as in short for "Fox Extra" so that way, it can still be a extension of the Fox network and allow the MNT O&O stations that were rebranded to keep their rebranding and help the non-O&O rebrand their stations.

Most of the FOX O&O stations utilize a "More" or "Plus" on the My Network stations
Dallas has Fox 4 More (KDFI)
San Fran has KTVU Plus (KICU)
DC has Fox 5 Plus (WDCA)
Seattle doesnt call it anything FOX related. Its just "Joe TV" (KZJO)
Minneapolis has Fox 9+ (WFTC)
Phoenix has FOX 10 More (KUTP)
Orlando has Fox 35 Plus (WRBW)

Well, I guess it's better than the rubbishy telenovelas they specialised in for their first couple years....

Considering MyNetworkTV is a play on MySpace (then owned by Fox), it's time to end it.

Vestigial connection to the distant past.

Someone much younger than I (late teens) recently asked me why it's called that. Their confused response to my explanation: "What's 'Myspace'?"

I felt myself age about 20 years.

Lots of things lose their connection to the origins over time. And let's face it, this was barely a tenuous connection to begin with. Good luck finding virtually anyone who linked the two together in their minds.

Desire was my favorite one. Fashion House was OK. The others just plain sucked.

The dude was born kind of around when the original Myspace social media website was in its prime, so he was too young to remember it.

My Network TV is basically Fox plus though given that some of the MyNetwork TV affiliates managed by Fox has been renamed Fox4 and More Dallas, Fox 5 Plus Washington DC, Fox 10 Xtra Phoenix and Joe TV Seattle.

If Seattle's JoeTV could talk:
"MyNetwork? What's that? Is that the junk we put on at 1AM when everyone's asleep?..."
They specialize in an 8-10 PM news block powered by Q13. And plenty of sitcom reruns in prime access and after prime time. MNTV hasn't been in a primetime slot in Seattle for probably 6 or 7 years, or more.
