Shakeup at Power 106

It’s now Power Morning with Teddy Mora, Melissa Rios and DJ Carisma 6-10am, Nick Cannon 10-Noon, Bryhana 12-3pm, DJ Felli Fel and DJ Ever 3-7pm and Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk 7-Midnight.

Cannon's move to mid-day is most likely in line with his new Talk Show schedule. Now he'll be able to just go from one show to the next without having to get up at 3 or 4 AM

Stirke that....he's in New York, so he'll be doing the TV Show first (I believe it supposed to follow Wendy Williams at 11am on the east) then just like Ryan Seacrest, he slides into a radio studio for the Power Show

I'm old fashioned. I think an LA radio talent should live in LA. We get disconnected. We miss out on the weather. Little traffic nuances and construction closures. Opening of new restaurants.

Also Nick Cannon does a syndicated show for Skyview too. I knew Nick Cannon's TV Talk show was brought up to be released in the fall though.

So he doesn’t actually broadcast from a radio station like he did when he had the show on 92.3 now I’m guessing it’s not an interactive show where people can call in and request music.

I agree if this was in the 1980's and 1990's. I remember Tom Joyner would commute from Chicago and Dallas to do his radio show back then where he would do shows for two markets and he had to commute by plane due to how things were at the time.

But in 2021 that won't fly due to the current state in broadcasting such as getting equipment to connect to the internet, producing a podcast/YouTube show + getting audience reaction online now.

I remember seeing old airchecks that at one point Bobby Ocean pulled the same thing such as doing radio shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco but that's when it was required to be in studio to do a radio show.
