amazing DX!

Right now I'm geting FM 97 WLAN!
I am also able to get Wink 104 WNNK .
These super hot humid temps make for amazing DX from places I would not normally get stuff.
Its unusual for me to get stuff from this direction.
FM97 needs a little processing work. The EQ is messed up on one channel.
All from Bensalem, PA

I also have gotten these stations whenever it’s really hot and humid

Do you have an antenna on your roof too?
I love it when I get this stuff from that far away!
Now if I could only get WPTE again, but I doubt that will happen. I thought I might be able to pull in WRBT yesterday night but there's some translator on 94.9 so no dice.

Don't know if you are aware of these sites, but they help in letting you know where FM/TV DX might happen . . .

this for tropo ducting . . .

*****
this for where things are happening on VHF, like TV / FM & 2 meter ham band

this site shows things people are picking up on TV DX . . . scroll down and open up link called LIVE BANDSCAN

have fun,
Al

Pretty soon what with climate and all, it seems we will no longer be getting any local FM stations. Instead we'll be setting our car buttons to those annoying FM signals from Japan, Canada and Hawaii.

Here around Lansdale, PA there was a lot of interference on 107.9 early this afternoon. I couldn't get an ID on the interfering station, but at times WPPZ was totally unlistenable. So, the ducting was in evidence today. It was also effecting KYW's FM signal on 103.9 and several other non-class B's in and around Philly.

WEBE was my first thought when I heard the interference, but I couldn't confirm it. My other thought, however, is that most often during tropo I find that signals from the south and west are likely to break through - those signals being both regional or long distance.

I don't think I'm far away enough from 107.9 here in Philly to get WEBE. I think I can null it out to attempt WKRF but i think it just mixes in. Besides that's not South and that's what I seem to get most often.
Also thanks Al for the DX links!
John
