The late Dave Fortenberry personally handed me a QSL card for KFBK at NAB in Vegas 2017 for my reception of KFBK from Alaska.
KFBK uses a Franklin so that NW lobe is no doubt strong, probably similar to 100kw RF in that direction. I’ve heard both KFBK and KHTK can be heard in AK.
Caldor Fire aside, when I heard the lack of references to 93.1 first thought was the 107.9 purchase. 93.1 has a much larger in-car listening range though.

KHTK? Not so much
KSLD 1140 in Kenai is 10kw and it blankets much of the state at night.

I've heard something under KSLF at night. .and im about 300 miles NE of them, give or take.. .but often times i could never tell if it was KHTK or the 1140 in Vegas also running sports.. and it was often barely audible under KSLD.
I heard KHTK once well enough that i could consider logging it.. KSLD was off or deadair and conditions were a bit disturbed.. and the 1140 Vegas was running something else.
