KBLA

There is no measurable cume, proven again today in the weekly trend reports. Zip.

Perhaps that's what iHeart is waiting for. To see if he can build something worth spending money on.

BIN has some big money players and I'm sure they'd love to have their spots air on a station with a signal in market #2.

If not, I'm sure Disney would love to work a deal.

Mine may be the unpopular opinion - I don't think it's a question of whether the station can attract enough audience to move the needle into becoming a money making venture (it won't). It's a question of how many millions will Tavis pour into the money pit before cutting his losses.

It's not a money making venture, it's a cause. So Tavis will shovel as much of his money into it and proudly go down with the ship, if necessary.

when did the fcc ever tell you what you could say after calls and city of license?

As far as I'm aware, my station could say "KSKO MCGrath, Anchorage" ever since it signed on 40 years ago, even when it went from a 10kw AM to a 100 W FM with repeaters 5 years ago.... even though Anchorage is 230 miles away and the AM never covered anchorage at all, reliably
As long as it's "legal", your station ID should be fine.

The most famous non-city is Hollywood.

LA is full of such "places" that are really large neighborhoods and not separate communities. Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Studio City and on and on.
KDOC-DT3 identifies itself as "MeTV Hollywood".
