Can someone explain to me how translators owned by the church ended up in the middle of a divorce dispute? Don't they belong to the church?
Wake up Bamatx This is not a divorce dispute .. that already happened this a lawsuit against mr hector and the Church.. the church has control of the license.. if the church is found to have been at fault they will have to pay and may be forced to give up certain translators! Hope that explains it for you.

I hope the wife wins! "The good Pastor" needs a lesson. You can believe in whatsoever you like, but the truth remains the truth, no matter how sweet the lie may taste.

Still doesn't explain how assets that belong to the church end up in the middle of this.

Typing in Hector Guevara on the Harris County website turns up a lot of.....stuff. 🤨

I don’t know Pastor Guevarra personally, I have seen him on TV and heard him on the radio. So my next comments won’t be specifically about him personally. So even if the church and assets where paid by the church and donations they still belong to him. I have seen many churches that do serve the Lord and work hard for it. Pastors having to be called at 3 or 4 am cause a member is crying for their son getting shot at night clubs. Or ministers having to take their old church members to the hospital to see patients. Having to go pray for church member family members who get locked up. So I seen hard working ministers that don’t even have a nice church. A church that the building is falling to pieces. A church that has roof leakes. A church that the pastor has an old car that breaks down on him all the time.

Would you agree that there is a chance that this civil suit could hurt the congregation and the "mission" of the church?

Seems redundant to go to church when you're up to no good in life.

Anyways...I'm not sure where you're going with this or what this has to do with the civil suit.

Don’t make me start preaching to you, who do you think churches are for? What the Christ preach? He came for sinners not for holymen. It’s like they say, clinics are meant for the ill not for the healthy.

Well, it's obviously not working if you're getting shot or ending up in prison. If those sinners were radio operators, they would be wise to spin the religious format wheel.

Maybe give Buddhism a chance?

Actually, preventative healthcare is highly recommended for everyone. Many insurance companies are encouraging annual checkups with your PCP or local clinic.

Is my understanding that he only serves his personal lavish lifestyle.

I've seen Hector Guevara compared to Joel Osteen before... Oldschool might be correct but then again maybe not. How is the trial going, anyone know?
