I am a bit late to the party but I did hear Christmas music last week on 94.5. I thought it was pretty cool. In my mind I thought it would flip formats to rock or classic rock and have the return of JB&B in Panama City. I kept hearing the "5 o'clock" teaser but didn't think much of it. I assumed it would be for a Christmas contest. I figured it would stunt a little longer than it did. Then on Saturday morning I turned it on and heard rock music with a Lex & Terry promo.
Good job,
@cceng that was a clever stunt and even got some publicity in the News Herald. The rock format is welcome in this area due to the fact that 95.9 is such a weak singal (most of the time I cannot pick it up because it is so weak). No jocks, no morning show, no nuthin' on that station I don't even bother to listen anymore. I am more of a fan of "classic rock" than "classic hits" because of the fact that "hits" keep it "light". 94.5 will be a welcome addition to the presets in my truck.
