Why would ANY CHR want to go all-Christmas, especially in a market that already is going to have two Christmas stations this year?Do you guys think KYLD will become the first CHR station in the country to go All-Christmas?
Interesting to see 94.5 be K-Sleigh, which is closer to the old K-BAY monicker, instead of Sleigh FM, which is closer to their current branding.94.5 "Bay FM" (KBAY Gilroy) announced they will transition to 94.5 "K-Sleigh" this Thursday at midnight and play Christmas music throughout the season. Bay FM has not switched to Christmas music since the 2017 season. They cater primarily to the south bay, but it's possible KOIT will flip earlier too because of this. Doubtful KISQ would switch.
KOIT flipped last Friday at noon.I would think KOIT gonna switch soon to Christmas music sometime after Thanksgiving...
Maybe BAY-FM will be going back to the old KBAY format after the Holidays.KOIT flipped last Friday at noon.
As for K-Sleigh, they are re-identifying as “94.5 KBAY” in their TOTH legal ID’s. Not sure if this will stick around after the holidays or not.
Probably would remain Classic Hits, unless they want to cede that audience to KOSF.Maybe BAY-FM will be going back to the old KBAY format after the Holidays.
