Need A Dell 780 Computer For Jesus Radio Selma

The one I'm using now is fixing to die. It keeps going off, every so often. Been happening for the past few days now. My engineer and I have determined that the motherboard is the issue. If anyone reading can help me get one, that would be awesome. This one is used for the broadcasting side of the station.

P.S. I would replace the motherboard only but he told me it would be better to get another Computer, where all he has to do is move the hard drive over to the replacement one.

Don't use PayPal any longer. I did have an account but a few years back had ID theft to happen and I quit using their service and the online ordering thing, like cold turkey.​

They seem to be readily available, and reasonably inexpensive - now.

If this is one of those situations where "it's the only machine that'll work", might I suggest you consider getting more than one in order to have a spare on the shelf?

Im gonna be honest, youre going to need to work out how to do paypal again if you want non locals to help. Many people will gladly toss $10 in the coffers electronically online because it takes 2 minutes.. but they dont wanna have to mail it to someone.

Many here understand, appreciate and relate to your passion for what you do.. and would probably hlep if we could, electronically.

No need to purchase the one I found yet. P.T.L. An underwriter/Preacher that has spots on here, just found me one. I told him his 15 minute Sermon would be off today, due to to the Computer officially dying on Saturday. After that, he went online and has secured me one. Hope to be back by the weekend.​

Id run Intel Rapid Storage software on it, mirroring the drives. Then all you'd have to do is drop one of the mirrored drives in any Windows 10pc and you're off a running.

What I have on that old Computer's Hard Drive is still working. All me and the engineer will do is move the hard drive from the old system to this new one. It was the motherboard that died. The Hard Drive itself is still a brand new one, that replaced the original.​

P.S. I'll speak with my engineer about your suggestion and see what he thinks of the idea.​

The new broadcast Computer, I just got, turned out to be a dud. Working now on getting one that works. Stay tuned.

Well I can use that new Computer. My radio engineer got it to work, as this update. He's now putting some finishing touches on it. Hope to start broadcasting from it, by the middle of next week. Stay tuned! P.T.L. is the Word. (y)

Thanks! Concerning the line, me and the engineer felt it was time to replace it. The line itself is very old and can no longer be patched. Glad he's helping me put in a fresh replacement.. Excited is the Word on that! :D​

As of today, the line has been replaced and we sound so much better. Now working on getting me a new Transmitter. Once installed, then I'll be able to have the RDS messaging on the radios that feature it. Excited is the Word on this. :D
