KOLT AM is on the move!

Well, according to the recent FCC press release, 690 KOLT will be broadcasting from a different tower on the west side of Gering, with slightly higher power. To Scottsbluff residents, I don't think much will change, so they'll yawn. According to the latest FCC press release, it should provide better coverage to my house in Cheyenne. More Ben Shapiro for me, I guess.

Where do you get the idea it'll provide betetr coverage?

Theyre going from 1kw directional pointed AT you to 1.1 kw non directional.. the signal towards you will be worse.

Their current tower radiates poorly, so a new tower should help if done right.
Have a look at Exhibit 13.2, the 0.5 mv signal comes just a sliver closer.

That's what radiolocator.com says, but the rest of them shows KOLT directionalized to the east.

Oh, okay. That's a shame, but more so when they switched away from country.
