Glenn Kalina retires

Looks like Mark Shepperd is out, again. Surprised there was no real announcement. Either downsizing or (potentially) related to COVID measures (I.e. lack of vaccination).
Didn't see that previously at all.

Plus there's now a night person, Laura Boss, holding 7-Midnight. She's at least local! Not sure if VT'd or live.

EDIT: VT'd. She left WXTU to take the Morning Show producer position previously held by Nate Weaver, who left for the iHeart Delaware cluster.

Speaking of WBEB, their analog and digital on-air aren't running in sync currently. Any idea who I'd report such a thing to so it could be fixed?

Not sure but is only 12-2 voice tracked on B? I thought Tafrow just “stuck around” after 10 for the extra two hours. Could be way off, but having been in a dentist lately (how stereotypical) passing the time, that was my impression. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Nights of course also voice tracked. I get that.

Add in the spoken word stations and of course you’ve got KYW and WIP effectively always live, and WPHT is up to what…9 hours a day now?

Seems like the Beasley studios get a little more use in their updated digs. Ben not withstanding 😊.

KYW pre-records overnight (and did they bring back overnight traffic? That was a COVID casualty for a while on many Audacy News stations). And does WIP have someone there overnight? I truly don't know, as the website just says "Overnights.' Not sure if that is live, or they're airing best-ofs.. and I'm never awake then to find out. ha!)

Ok, the few hours of pre recorded but still…that’s darn close to a full day. 😃

I don’t know for sure what WIP did with the late Big Daddy Graham slot. For a while at least, the switch from CBS to Entercom meant ditching the week to week schedules of shows with varying hosts in favor of the useless generic stuff the have now. “Nights and weekends” being a catch all for the various part timers they use to round things out.

Is Domino live in Orlando and tracking on WOGL or did he relocate?
Remember, it's possible to be "live in the studio" from anywhere in the world now. Physical location used to be a technical and cost-based requirement and that is not the case today.

Very true. I just have enjoyed him so much in Orlando all these years and hope he still has a good presence here. He is a fantastic talent and finds a great way to have a modern Top 40 delivery without sounding stale, all while making it work seamlessly for classic hits.
