La Nueva Dallas.

La Nueva Dallas 106.5 is airing on Aliento 101.7.

I wonder if it’s just a block that they are airing on or did they make a flip?

La Nueva Dallas is not the same La Nueva 94.1 from here in Houston.

101.7 FM is off air this morning, but on 106.9 HD 3 it is still on. But they said this is KGBC 1540 AM in Houston and 101.7 FM.

But 101.7 FM is (or was) another station up north running Radio Aliento. And was not running KGBC from Pasadena.

On 101.7 K269GT covers the north side of the market, rebroadcasting KHPT HD-3. K269GS covers much of the southeast side and rebroadcasts KGBC.

KQEU-LP can be heard on the west side with Chinese language programming.

Elsewhere in the market it is KNTE.

What sort of English programming, and what is KGBC itself airing?
The Aliento station is possibly working with La Nueva Dallas?

When I heard it last night it was playing classic rock.

Today La Nueva from Dallas was on 101.7 K269GT. Aliento was on KHPT HD3, KGBC and K269GS. Even though the legal callsings from LA NUEVA from Dallas mentioned being on KHPT HD3 and K269GT.

Si we have Aliento on 101.7 from Pasadena and LA NUEVA DALLAS on 101.7 CONROE.

There is no 101.7 licensed to Conroe -- the closest thing would be KSAM in Huntsville, which should come in perfectly in Conroe if it wasn't for K269GT running over power.

The KSAM tower is actually in Willis.

Huh? The KSAM-FM tower is in Huntsville, easy to see as you drive by on I-45.

However KAFR has its tower just north of Willis, which is what you might be thinking of. You can see it to the west of I-45 when driving by.

KSAM-FM does have a CP to go from a Class A to a C3, also from Huntsville.

The KSAM-FM tower is definitely in Huntsville, just north from the statue of "SAM" Houston.
My bad. I somehow confused it with KVST. They are in Willis. KSAM could take a few years for the power increase.
