WCTN AM 950 Potomac-Cabin John, has dumped the brokered "La Auténtica" format for a 24x7 relay of the Overcomer Ministry. Yup, the late Brother Stair can now be heard on the AM 950 and translator 94.3.

I thought the WCTN 94.3 translator, W257BW, was ordered off the air in 2018 due to interference with WOWD-LP. Is it still on?

Looks like the 94.3 translator modified its parameters to operate under a "program test authority" and has been coasting on that since. Their license to cover is still pending, as is their renewal.

Someone posted on the Long Island board that WNYH 740 AM in Huntington, Long Island dropped Korean programing for the same thing. I believe WCTN and WNYH are co-owned.

Scroll down past the shortwave stuff to page 9 for the list of AM stations where this is on 24/7. I'm amused by the "Not Live" listing next to one particular station - if any of this was live, that'd be a real miracle!
 
The morning Spanish block formerly heard on 950 relocated en masse to AM 1600. A lesser signal but still something. Indeed it's weird to hear defunct Bro Stair ranting away on FM 94.3 as,well as 950AM.
 
At the time of writing, 950 AM is back to playing Spanish music. Not sure if it is the same brand as before or if it is still being heard on 94.3.

He may be like the late Dr. Gene Scott: On tape 24/7 forever, doing a little preaching and a lot of begging for $$$money.
 
WCTN has been now operating on 101.5 for sometime.. Coversge remains spotty but at least WOWD-LP no longer has to fight the signal.. WCTN remains with archived Spanish language filler music
The F'burg B1015 ..station dominates the channel still
 
WCTN AM 950 remains off the air as well as the new 101.5 translator. Meanwhile, WTNT 730 AM carries more of a filler Latino/US music loop while the FM translators continue with regular programming.
