I've listened to KQIE and they definitely dont qualify on the shares as an oldies format. Maybe mainstream oldies but definitely not an oldies station
Example they play usher who isn't oldies just sayin

Rhythmic oldies, which more or less has transitioned to Rhythmic AC. Usher’s definitely a core artist.

Live comes at you pretty fast. Don't stop to look around once in awhile, you might miss it!

Back in 1993, an "oldies" station could play Elton John's "Crockodile Rock" (1973) and nobody would bat an eye.
Usher's music is now older than that!

One day you tune into KRTH, KOLA, or KQIE and hear something from when you were in high school. Despite my initial complaining that "KOLA is off the rails," I have to slowly admit that it's me who has gotten old.

I thought the historical definition of an “oldies” song was 20 years or older. If so, Usher would qualify. In today’s terminology, isn’t that an “old school” song?
