FOX and Clay Travis's Outkick to launch radio network

So, one of the successors to Rush Limbaugh's timeslot on the iHeart stations, along with FOX Corporation, appears to be developing a sports network that will eventually compete with iHeart's FOX-branded sports network.

Where are they going to find big name affiliates? The market is totally dominated by ESPN and Fox Sports, with CBS stuck in little listened to stations. And CBS Sports is a much better brand name than Outkick. Could Outkick be aiming for conservative talk stations looking for a little variety? Anyone who checks Clay Travis' social media feeds know they are more conservative talking points than actual sports, and that will probably scare away more traditional sports radio stations. I know KJR 950 Seattle dropped his overnight show last year in favor of CBS Sports Radio's hosts--the only CBS show they carried.
 
Keep in mind that NBC Sports used to have a radio network, and they shut it down last year.

BTW Travis is no longer hosting Outkick. He sold the brand to Fox Corporation so he could concentrate on political talk.

Probably looking at the affiliates of SportsMap (that's still a thing).

Travis sold Outkick to FOX, but he's still the face of the brand.

My bad. He still runs Outkick, but is not a host on there. Besides, the SportsMap hosts are no-names too, so I imagine their affiliate list is who they're targeting.
 
They have a PM drive show available now. outkick It will begin airing in Nashville on 94.9 The Fan a week from Monday. But nothing new regarding a 24/7 operation.
