WKVB 107.3 license to cover filed.

However, they do have an business location though, yes?

Some bigger markets may... Denver does... NYC probably does, but they dont have to.

OK, thanks! I just thought it was part of their business model to have local locations, along with being involved with the community, etc.

lol.... where have you been? No, that isnt part of their business model, yet theyre doing very well

I had thought David Eduardo had posted something to that effect, when they first purchased WAAF? I could be wrong about it though. I thought someone did anyway.

The network has a series of outreach programs to aid their listeners and to give them spiritual advice. But they do not operate out of local stations.

K-Love at least used to have a representative in each area, supposedly to call on churches, pass out bumper stickers and fundraise (in some markets, possibly sell local underwriting). In my market, half the morning team of the station K-Love bought moved into that position for K-Love. I don't know of that's still the case. There are no local studios or business offices, I imagine Nashville will eventually be its only studio.

Why lol? Yes, some local presence is part of the plan....mostly promotional, "street team" type of stuff.

They apparently have a local promotions team in some markets, including Boston.

I recall they had an ad looking for "promotions staffers" for Boston. I am not sure what exactly the local staff is charged with. They have a vehicle emblazoned with the logo/frequency for the Boston outlet. I believe they attend events that their audience would be interested in (Christian conferences, food drives and concerts, etc.) , park the van in a visible spot, hand out promotional material, etc.

Should have not been that hard to produce. Isn't 107.3 in Washington DC also K-Love? If you didn't say this was for Boston, I wouldn't know which market these items were produced for. Seems like they just have a stock branding that they produce with the frequency for the specific market.

Yes, WRQX.

Doesn't matter. A listener in Boston doesn't know (or care) about the K-Love station in DC..or what frequency it's on.

That missed the whole purpose of the post. It was that the items must be quick and easier to produce. I added that they could make several ones with "107.3" on as there is no variation between K-Love in Boston and DC. The only variation between all the markets is the frequency it's on.

Is the new Hudson signal on air permanently now? If so, what do most think about how it is performing if in fact it is now on air 24-7?

They could even use the same promotional vehicle for different markets. Just have a magnet for the different frequency in each market. In the northeast driving from Boston to DC, K-Love is on 107.3, 95.5, 106.9, 95.5, 106.9, and 107.3.

And I have been able to pick up all 6 of those at the same time in New Jersey during a strong tropo opening

Now this is kind of a dumb question (and I am sure a simple Google search could answer this too,) but which cities are they in New Hampshire? Are they in Concord, Manchester, Nashua, Portmouth, etc?
