No, it was www.ministeriosvida.tvYou're probably picking up this Radio Vida.
www.radiovida.com
Radio Gracia used to purchase a lot of time on KXYZ when that station was brokered programming under the previous Multicultural Broadcasting ownership. Of course 1320 flipped to BIN when iHeart purchased it. Radio Gracia probably hasn’t updated its website.Radio Gracia was not on 1320 when I was tunning in. But they were on 95.3 FM.
And their website says they’re on both 1320 am and 95.3 FM
Radio Vida on 96.9 is coming from K245CQ, which had been rebroadcasting KWWJ (normal programming still on 1360.) I heard a TOHID for KLVL and K235CS, but no reference to the 96.9 frequency. It is possible this is an audio routing error, as I have heard translators running the “wrong” station in the past, only to correct things a day or two later. I supect there may be a common switching point many of these run through. Also picking up Radio Vida on 96.9
Are they talking about KZLD? Last time I heard that it was the infamous La Nueva. They're still on KCDF.Radio Gracia: their FaceBook page says listen to us on the radio on 95.3 South Humble area.
Might be worth checking KWWJ to see if they are still branding with 96.9 or just 1360 now.
Edit to add: Just heard KWWJ brand with both 96.9 and 1360. Perhaps they are unaware of the translator issue? I am too far away to check 96.9 right now (was near the transmitter yesterday and heard Radio Vida.)
Of course the parent KYOK 1140 is daytime only, but a late evening check of its 24 hour webstream has the usual Gospel format, so something has changed with the translator.I want to add:
92.3 FM has been airing preachers in Spanish all night long. Don’t know if it is just some time they’re leasing or it has also flipped to all Spanish.
And it is different programming from 96.9.
Yes Radio Vida was on at least 3 stations, 1480 am. 94.9 and 96.9.Of course the parent KYOK 1140 is daytime only, but a late evening check of its 24 hour webstream has the usual Gospel format, so something has changed with the translator.
Is 96.9 still Radio Vida?
The answer from a technical, engineering and operational standpoint is yes.Can Darrell Martin be that bad? LOL he's had his stations a long time.
