this might have something to do to the fact that they and KSCS New Country 96.3 are owned by the same company now and trying to give different playlist to make themselves stand out from their "New Country" sister as 96.3 is pretty much more for the newer country music while The Wolf will add classics to their lineup.
Then why is KSCS playing classics too? I saw them play a few here and there on their playlist.
Saturday specialty show or playlist "extras"? Or is this happening on weekdays, where the money is, as well? I've got three country stations to listen to at my new location in eastern Vermont and none play any gold older than late '80s George Strait. No Willie, no Waylon.
