While I am not a hard-core American football fan, that "perfect offensive" game last night has to go down in history as one of the great ones! A touchdown in each of seven straight possessions... and many more outstanding moves.

Go Bills!

But please build them a new stadium with a dome!

As far as the domed stadium goes...unlikely to happen. And when it DOES get built, no artificial turf either-based on reports I've seen.

John Murphy called one of his best games ever on WGR. The entire broadcast crew, including the on-field reporter, deserves credit for a fine production. Most people don't know it, but the PbP guys work with the windows open. 4° has a way of cooling 68° down to about 40°
Now that this is officially ↑ a radio post ...

Who needs a dome when your football team is red hot? Thanks for the Buffalove, David. Seven TDs on seven consecutive possessions is an all-time first for the NFL, regular season and/or playoffs. And the Bills defense was lights-out. Micah Hyde's Willie Mays-like, over-the-shoulder interception of what was a sure TD pass was absolutely amazing and took the wind out of the Pats' sails... kinda like 4° and a wind chill of -12° takes a person's breath away. On to KC to face the equally amazing Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.

And to think Big A wrote "They're not very good" when referring to the Bills in a thread some months back.
Tsk, tsk... Mr. Michigan sandwich.

The Bills played an outstanding game, but the Patriots have 6 Super Bowl wins(Buffalo Zero) If the Bills end with a thud in Kansas City, nobody outside of Buffalo will remember a Wild Card win. If they make it to the Super Bowl (only to lose going 0 for 5), the fragile psyche of the Buffalo fan base will be pushed to the limit...

More than a generation has passed since that 4th SB loss. I don't think a stand-alone SB loss this year will demoralize anyone. A SB appearance after all this time will be a sign of great things to come, win or lose.

Nonsense. The fact is the Bills performance, seven consecutive possessions resulting in seven touchdowns, set an NFL record. It's not been done before in the regular season or the playoffs. Not by the great teams of the Patriots with the GOAT, not with Montana and the 49ers, nor Favre or Rogers in Green Bay. So it will, in fact, be remembered ... because it's in the record books.

Yes, it was an excellent performance. The NFL has countless records for every statistic imaginable. The Bills don't get a trophy for that Wild Card game.

The 90s Bills are remembered as great teams with the caveat (One that never captured the big prize). Every team and player you mentioned has Super Bowl victories on their ledger. The Bills have a chance to join that list, but winning it is very difficult. New England has done it six times...

If winning the Super Bowl was easy everybody would have one. New England ain't doing it this year. The Bills are in good shape at the right time. I hope they get to face Brady in a Super Bowl, but I don't think Tampa will get there this year. Let's see how it plays out. In any event they're a lot more fun to watch than the teams that couldn't make the playoffs for over a decade.

The Bills won't be facing Brady anymore. He leaves with a 32-3 record against Buffalo and 7 Championships. Super Bowl count is still New England 6 -- Buffalo 0.

It's amusing that Sports talk stations moaned about the Overtime rules when Buffalo lost to Kansas City. "It's not fair to loss a coin toss". The very next week Cincinnati loses the Overtime coin toss, plays some defense, and wins the game against the Chiefs. Some teams win and others whine...

Speaking of whiners...

Somebody here must be a New England fan. Or at least a Brady fan.

Brady is obviously one of the greatest of all time(especially when the stakes are the highest). Buffalo fans live in denial with an embarrassing "Bills Mafia". What is that? Those are the whiners. It's OK to hate Brady because he dominated your team, but to deny reality is absurd.

The Sports talking heads try to rationalize losing. Cincinnati succeeded in the exact same situation where the Bills failed...
