WSAZ reporter hit by car during live report

There are so many things wrong with this it's hard to know where to begin.
Let's start with the video posted to twitter:

Fortunately, she seems okay, and the car was maybe going 5-10 mph, but seriously, pay attention if you're driving at night, in the rain, or probably stay home. Hmm... it could also be argued as to why they were even out there risking their lives in the first place to tell us the obvious?

On the bright side, Tim's face at 0:42 is going to blow up into a meme.

1. This reporter was clearly not “good”. She was obviously in shock.

2. Why continue this live hit for 1:30 with such absurd questioning from the anchor instead of cutting away and getting her some help?

3. Why is this station sending a young female reporter out to a dark nighttime street scene to cover a water main break -- alone, with no photographer or security?
