Grammy Awards Move to April in Vegas

For the first time, the Grammy Awards will take place in Las Vegas

The awards show had originally been set for Jan 30 in LA.

The move has caused the CMT Awards, originally scheduled for April 3, to a date later in the month. Both shows air on CBS.

I believe that the main issue involved finding that many artists themselves did not want to be in a crowd environment with the newest variant still rather uncertain.
