Radio guy: Tom Jeffries.

Everybody...I am trying to learn if a former radio co-worker of mine from 1970 is still with us. He and I were both born in Akron...and got our very first fulltime on air gigs at the old 1150 WCUE in 1970.

He’d been living in Las Vegas...not in great health. And, last summer stopped posting on his social media accounts. His LinkedIn page hadn’t been updated.

Several other former co-workers of Tom’s are also my friends, and they havre no idea if he’s even still with us.

When in radio Tom “Jivin” Jeffries (aka Tom Ivey) worked in Cleveland, Boston, Chatlotte, Chicago, and more. He’d done acting gigs too.

His cell phone has been disconnected. We hope for the best, but fear he’s gone. Anybody know? Thanks.
 
IMDB lists him as Tom Ivey and having six acting jobs, the last in 2016. It's definitely the same guy. His biography mentions an extensive background in radio before retirement from broadcasting. If he isn't still alive, IMDB doesn't know it. There's a good chance he's on "Linked In". You might try that. Here's his bio: Thomas Ivey - IMDb

He has not updated LinkedIn in years. Already tried that too. Thanks any way.

I’ve known Tom since 1970. I knew of his radio and later acting career. I last spoke with him by phone about 2 or 3 years ago. Had seen his Facebook posts from time to time, but they stopped early to middle of last year. Several other radio friends have of late asked me what’s happened to him. I do not know. I’ve contacted a couple of his FB friends and they haven’t heard a word in over a year. That’s why I posted here.
