Actually, I've moved out of the area, so I thankfully never have to worry about stumbling onto this on the dial. However, I'm curious about the 103.3 signal. How long has that been in effect, and what's it's coverage over Philadelphia proper? Princeton's WPRB was always a preset of mine, and to have this choke out it's Philly coverage would truly be a shame.

The 103.3 WPRB signal is moderate to bad in Philly proper. With a car radio though, you should be able to hear it decently.
 
This will go over about as bad as a led turd filled balloon in church

Whoops, I clicked on the wrong signal. W277DL has no core Philadelphia coverage, and as I mentioned above, WPRB does have okay coverage. As a full power, WPRB has rights to coverage over the translator, who basically has to protect WPRB in return. The only way to hear the 103.3 translator is through some Tropo or perhaps on top of the Philly skyline. Your best bet is to look at 740, which averages a good day signal in most of the city.

With the signal on AM, they will probably find their target audience anyways. I imagine that since the previous format is Christian, most folks wouldn't even notice the difference, and continue listening. Not every station appeals to the youth, ya know!

some smaller stations like this have small by loyal.. almost insane fans.. like devotees.. who hang on their every word and dont fact check because what they hear fits with their agen

Yep. Some radio stations have a cult following no matter what they do. Let's just be glad it's a relatively small following.
 
As of 7pm, they are still ID'ing as WVCH 740, so I guess the flip has yet to take place on air.
 
They are currently off the air now, in all the reports there is no mention of that great signal on 95.3, much better than 740 or 103.3, will they keep it or will some other station get it, 95.3 covers a very large populas.
 
This makes sense in SUPER-RED Chester City (sarcasm). And of course you have WPHT, WNTP, and (does anyone remember this station exists) WFYL taking pieces of the pie.

"Liberty Radio" takes donations on their website, so I'm sure they'll scam some dough out of those in the echo chamber.

No station thats commercial viable is gonna have a donation button on their website.. they know theyre gonna have trouble with money

Its not tax deductible either
