As an 8 year old in 1983, this schedule brings back a lot of memories. I'd forgotten that "Real People" had edited reruns, or the "Lie Detector" show.
According to "Broadcasting Magazine", Reynolds' last appearance on ABC World News Tonight was April 20 1983.
Within a few months the Curtis/Sawyer CBS Morning News would be regularly kicking the Today show into third place. The ratings started slipping in 1984 and Sawyer left the show.

The signigificance of that date and place was that my maternal grandfather died in the Seattle area on that day, which happened to be my mother's birthday. Her sister/my aunt was living in Lynnwood at the time and was watching over my grandfather during his last few months.
 
Lie Detector was supposed to be the 'big hit' in syndication, but it flopped. Pat Sajak even mentioned that in an interview with the Television Academy several years ago. Needless to say, he had the big syndication hit instead.
The listings ending at 1:00 AM makes me think this came from the Seattle Times, which had a similar grid format. They were going from 7AM-1AM most of the '80s and into the '90s.
I'm guessing Tattletales was a one-day delay even with the preemption to KCPQ. Casey Treat is still the main pastor at Christian Faith Center in Federal Way.

It was from the Seattle Times from geneologybank.com, as well as the Tacoma News-Tribune on newspapers.com.
 
Yup...I miss the days of viewing the Seattle Times microfilm at the local libraries there. CWU does have microfilm of the Times/P-I, Yakima Herald and Daily Record (Ellensburg) but I never have time to go in and print anything out!

That's what I've done too. In addition to the vintage TV schedules on newspaper microfilms, I also enjoy viewing vintage department store ads. (The Bon Marche, Frederick & Nelson, Lamonts)

The Daily Record archives are also available on the Google News Archive.
Speaking of Seattle TV grids, didn't they also include KVOS and Vancouver stations?
 
I use those Daily Record archives quite often to look for certain dates that something was aired on a Yakima station, like a weekend movie. Yes, Seattle Times included KVOS and CBUT. In the early-mid '80s, BCTV-8 (CHAN-TV) was included as well. No CKVU or CHEK to my knowledge.
I wish the Yakima Herald microfilm was available online. Tri-City Herald used to be many years ago, and they must have had 15 or more broadcast stations in the listings - Spokane, T.C., a few from Seattle, CHEK-6, etc. But the Spokesman-Review duplicated them throughout much of the '80s by including Tri-Cities stations. They were eliminated from the paper around February 1993.

Good news--the Tri-City Herald is now on newspapers.com.
 
Their TV listings stop at the end of August 1992...for some reason they did not include the TV Guide after that.
